The Star Wars franchise is a massive one, and there are a ton of great video games available to play. While the focus right now might be on the upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Survivor game, that’s not the only Star Wars game project in the works. There are a few titles being developed, such as Massive Entertainment’s untitled Star Wars game. However, we have a sliver of new information we can attach to Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars project. This is all thanks to job postings from the company, which clues us in on where the developers are drawing inspiration from.
Respawn Entertainment is bringing out Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, a continuation story from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen order. But they are also delivering a couple of other Star Wars projects that we have yet to see unveiled. We only know that their next Star Wars games are set to be an FPS along with a strategy game. In particular, a new set of job listings shined a little more light on the FPS title in development as the folks over at Respawn Entertainment are looking into the Dark Forces series for inspiration.
Thanks to PCGamesN, the listing was reported and shared that the developers want to create a story-driven single-player experience. So it doesn’t look like there is a multiplayer component here. That might have surprised some fans who felt this could trigger a multiplayer FPS competitive match, especially since Respawn Entertainment is known for bringing out both Titanfall and Apex Legends into the marketplace. Although, that could change as we are still waiting on a proper reveal of this upcoming project.
