French publishing giant Ubisoft has promoted Cécile Russeil to the position of EVP of communications, corporate affairs, diversity, inclusion and accessibility, human resources and legal.
Russeil has worked at Ubisoft for over 30 years. She joined back in 1990 as executive assistant to Yves Guillemot before moving to be lead legal counsel five years later. In 2000 she was promoted to director of legal affairs before moving to chief legal office in 2015. Russeil was brought into Ubisoft's executive committee in 2022.
“I am incredibly motivated to bring together the leadership of these key functions in order to enhance our organisational agility and ensure seamless alignment between corporate affairs, communications, DIA, HR, and legal strategies across all our global operations,” Russeil said.
