Ubisoft Lists Beyond Good and Evil 2 as 'In Active Development'

Fans were initially excited when a sequel to the action-adventure title Beyond Good and Evil was announced. Officially unveiled in 2017 at Ubisoft's E3 conference with plenty of teases before then, Beyond Good and Evil 2 seeks to give players a different experience from the original game, with plenty more RPG elements and a more ambitious approach to gameplay and graphics. However, since Beyond Good and Evil 2 was unveiled, fans have found plenty of doubt and uncertainty in regard to its development.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 is one of many games currently rumored to be in development hell, with current estimates alleging that the title has been worked on for over a decade. With many fans now all but ready to hear that the upcoming RPG has been canceled, it seems Ubisoft is still firmly in the belief that Beyond Good and Evil 2 will release, even mentioning it in a recent annual Q&A meeting.
