Ubisoft has confirmed their next Ubisoft Forward digital showcase will take place on 10th June during Summer Game Fest 2024.
What will Ubisoft show off during their showcase? We’d put good money on Star Wars Outlaws getting a release date during this stream, as well at least two or three Assassin’s Creed announcements or fresh gameplay reveals – the mobile game Assassin’s Creed Jade almost certainly, but it’s been a while since we’ve heard from Codename Red or Codename Hexe – oh, and almost certainly something for the perennial Just Dance.
This will be a repeat of last year’s Ubisoft Forward stream, which featured the reveal of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, the exciting Star Wars Outlaws gameplay reveal, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora gameplay, and plenty more besides.
Ubisoft’s appearance is the first puzzle piece to fall into place around Summer Game Fest this year – which will be open to the public for the first time. The Keighley-led show will take place on 7th June, while we also expect Microsoft to hold an event and others to announce shows in and around this window.
All of this is happening after the death of E3 was confirmed earlier this year. Truth be told, Summer Game Fest had already replaced E3 almost entirely, and publishers had already shifted to focussing their efforts around this newer, more freeform structure.
