The Pokémon Company today released a new trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and eagled-eyed fans believe they’ve spotted two hidden Pokémon that have yet to be officially revealed.
Highlighted on Twitter by @Pory_leeks, two Pokémon appear in the trailer, in blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameos. The first appears behind some menu options in the game’s photo mode.
The second Pokémon was shown as part of one of the game’s base battles, where players take on large groups of Pokémon at the same time.

The second of these Pokémon is believed to be a pre-evolution of Armarouge, a Pokémon that was recently revealed as part of an earlier trailer.
The light purple Pokémon hiding behind the menus hasn’t been identified, but we’re confident it isn’t one of the 900+ Pokémon in the national PokéDex.
While The Pokémon Company reveals many of the creatures coming to the new game ahead of launch, there are plenty that are typically left a surprise for players, so it’s possible that these two won’t be officially revealed pre-release.
The latest Pokémon Scarlet and Violet trailer, which is viewable above, shows off the various quests that players can take on during the game.
The 14-minute trailer also revealed Farigiraf, an evolution of Girafarig, a Pokémon that debuted in Pokémon Gold and Silver.
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet will be released in November and let up to four players explore an open world together freely.
Last month, Nintendo announced plans to launch a special edition Switch OLED console themed around Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.
