The newest trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet shows off one of the franchise's newest Gym Leaders, the Electric-type trainer Iono. Previous trailers for the next generation of Pokemon games have already introduced a wide cast of new characters from the Paldea region. Rival characters like Nemona and Penny have been joined by the first reveals of the region's Gym Leaders like the Ice-type Grusha. Now, the newest trailer for the upcoming Pokemon games has unveiled another member of Paldea's Gym Challenge with a livestream-inspired debut.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's newest trailer titled «Guess Iono's Partner Pokemon» plays out as a broadcast hosted by the Electric Gym Leader, Iono. Iono's debut introduces herself as the Gym Leader of the Paldean city of Levincia, as well as a «streamer and influencer» with a pair of blue and pink Magnemite hair clips. Iono tasks viewers with the challenge of figuring out her signature Pokemon, giving various hints based on questions from fans.
