For the eighth time in his streaming career, controversial content creator Adin Ross has been banned off Twitch. The decision was made on Saturday night, following Ross' recent non-exclusive move over to Kick, one of Twitch's streaming competitors, though whether that played a part in this decision is still not known.
This marks the second time in 2023 that Ross received a ban from the platform, with the earlier Twitch ban coming in January after Ross streamed an arm-wrestling match which resulted in his private security having one of his arms break. Twitch did not officially confirm what the cause of January's ban was at the time, nor has any word come to light with his eighth infraction.

On February 25, one month after his last ban, Adin Ross was banned by Twitch and has since led to many speculating on the cause. Earlier this month, Ross moved to Kick for his streaming content, claiming it was a non-exclusive agreement and that the new platform would need to pay him more money to stream solely on their website. Kick offers its partners a 95/5 monetary split, a rise from Twitch's 50/50 offer, but comes with the caveat that the rules aren't as imposed as what Twitch has to offer. This has led to many questioning the lifespan of Kick and their potential for advertisements in the future.
