The next title in the long-running series, Ys X: Nordics, takes series stalwart Adol Christin on a nautical adventure. The setting and environments are, interestingly enough, inspired by the coast of Normandy, France. Nordics will launch in its full form next week, on 25th October, for PS5 and PS4, with demo progress carrying over.
This latest adventure introduces Adol to a new and unlikely ally in Karja Balta, a Norman pirate, taking place in the Obelia Gulf, which is filled with countless islands. Here, the seafaring people known as «Normans» contend with the mysterious, immortal «Griegrs» for supremacy. New in this entry is the Cross Action battle system, offering players the choice of fighting in two modes, Solo, or Combination, which loosely tethers Adol and Karja together for simultaneous attacks.

Finally playing Ys VIII when the PS5 version released a couple of years ago made any entry to the series that gets released on PS5 an instant purchase.
I'm seeing good reviews for this and that's great
I already played Japan demo. I think it's a pretty fun Ys game and a breath
