Triangle Strategy Kudos farming is your ticket to turning the tides in some of the game’s tougher battles. Kudos are a rare currency you can exchange for even rarer goods, including class promotion materials, and you have a chance of earning them in every fight.

Obtaining them requires an extra layer of strategy in battle, though. If you want to clear out the Sundry Shop, plan on completing multiple mock battles – several times. While nearly any character can earn Kudos, a few are particularly suited for boosting how many you earn in each fight.
Kudos are a type of currency you can exchange with the Sundry Shop owner at Serenoa’s Encampment. The Sundry Shop has a number of rare goods for sale, ranging from Quietuses to Medals of Bravery and Valor used for class promotion. You’ll earn Kudos from completing certain tasks during battle, such as attacking an enemy from behind or having a spell hit more than two enemies simultaneously.

Early story battles where it’s easy to group enemies together or with a height advantage, such as chapter seven (if you protect Roland) and chapter eight, are good ways to farm Kudos and gain experience for underleveled characters. Retreating from a story mission lets you retain experience and Kudos earned before restarting the chapter's battle. That's good, because for roughly the first half of the game, the mock battles don’t feature battlegrounds suitable for Kudos farming.
