The true ending of Triangle Strategy may be a little complex to obtain. While the game presents multiple story routes, only one is the canonical end. This requires convincing party members to Serenoa's side and a few optional objectives.
The true ending is the final conclusion of the «golden route,» where choices cumulate in an ultimate satisfying ending. The true ending even includes additional recruits that cannot be found on all other story paths. These and others can be imported through the New Game Plus feature.

Many aspects of Triangle Strategy use the Conviction system, which causes past actions to impact or unlock future paths. The golden route requires excellent balance and care when making said choices. Outside of major voting sessions, players should aim to evenly select Morality, Utility, and Liberty choices without favoring one above the others.
Throughout Triangle Strategy, the party will put major story decisions to a vote. This normally involves seven participants, with most already set in their decisions. If for some reason, past choices cause someone to leave, then they will be absent from the voting session. However, players can also convince all seven people to switch their votes around.
This persuasion is mainly during the exploration phase of the game, where Serenoa can make dialogue choices that correspond to the tree Convictions of Morality, Utility, and Liberty. Small amounts of Conviction are also gained by other actions, like healing to acquire Liberty or collecting items in a battle for Utility. Each voter tends to prefer one of the three Convictions during most of Triangle Strategy but may waiver during specific chapters.
