According to speedrun.com, this particular challenge was done in the «All Cups (Skips)» category, which means the runner completes all the races but is allowed to implement skips, as kaznMK64 has done. What's also interesting about this is they beat the previous record by just one second.

The record below this one stands at 23:29 and was set by abney317 who speedran their way to victory in Mario Kart 64 just a few months ago. Abney also holds additional records for this game, including completing all races without skips in a time of 38:33. As for this current run, users in the comments section of the video have been wowed by kaznMK64's performance, with many congratulating the speedrunner and saying how well deserved the win is, especially given how abney317 has been the record holder in numerous categories for the last seven years, according to others.
