It’s been a while since we played a new Tomb Raider game, but the franchise obviously remains one of the biggest and most prominent names in the medium, and as such, continues to sell at a steady pace.
Taking to Twitter, Crystal Dynamics has announced that the Tomb Raider franchise has crossed another major sales milestone, having now collectively sold over 100 millions across all of its many releases to date. As of May of 2022, the series had sold over 88 million units worldwide, which means it has sold an additional 12 million units in the last two and a half years.
Crystal Dynamics has also announced Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered. The remastered collection, developed by Aspyr Media, will feature enhanced versions of Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider: Chronicles, and Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness, and is due out next February.
Crystal Dynamics is currently also working on the next mainline Tomb Raider instalment, which will be published by Amazon Games.
