Ms. Marvel star Iman Vellani reveals that Tom Holland spoiled Spider-Man: No Way Home for her during their first meeting. The latest in Marvel's expansion into Disney+ TV series, Ms. Marvel will see Vellani make her MCU debut as the show's titular hero, otherwise known as Kamala Khan. The six-episode series will follow Khan, a self-professed Captain Marvel fan, as she learns to harness her very own power. The series is expected to set up Vellani's next upcoming MCU appearance, which will see her star alongside Captain Marvel herself, Brie Larson in next year's The Marvels.
Known for its meticulous interwoven storylines, the current phase of the MCU has been in the process of setting up a variety of plot points throughout the studios' previous phase 4 releases thus far. Perhaps one of the most integral films in establishing Phase 4's focus moving forward has been Spider-Man: No Way Home, which enjoyed an enormous box office opening having introduced the concept of the multiverse. After months of intense fan speculation, Hollywood's worst-kept secret was unveiled as the film delighted audiences with the return of Spider-Man alumni, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire after Garfield had vehemently denied his involvement with the film.
