Today, Day of the Dead is celebrated in Azeroth! Head to any graveyard within a capital city to locate Catrina with some Simple Flour and Ice Cold Milk to celebrate the Dia de los Muertos!

Day of the Dead is a one-day holiday which offers a few achievements involving fighting players with costumes that can only be purchased during the event (To The Afterlife, Vientos!, Calavera), along with fun (all sold by Chapman at any capital city graveyards during the Holiday) items that include:
- Orange Marigold, which allows you to see the spirits of the dead today;
- Bouquet of Orange Marigolds, an off-hand frill cosmetic;
- The Macabre Marionette Battle Pet from the quest The Grateful Dead
- Recipe: Bread of the Dead, a recipe used for The Grateful Dead and can only be purchased and cooked today!
- The 5 aforementioned costume toys:

- «Snowy Owl» Contender's Costume
- «Santo's Sun» Contender's Costume

This year offers a new item, the Cliffside Wylderdrake: Day of the Dead Armor, a Dia de Los Muertos themed saddle for your Cliffside Wylderdrake Dragonriding mount which you can acquire from Chapman for a mere .
You can earn also earn Traders Tender during Day of the Dead:
- Day of the Dead: Complete the quest The Grateful Dead: Complete the quest The Grateful Dead during the Day of the Dead event;
- Day of the Dead: Defeat a Contender: Purchase a Day of the Dead costume from Chapman and defeat another player who is also wearing a contender costume.
