Counter-Strike 2 is the latest instalment in one of the most popular multiplayer game series of all time.

For the uninitiated, CS2 cases are what fuels CS2’s in-game economy. Awarded for ranking up through the Weekly Care Package scheme, their contents remain a mystery until you open them.
These cases contain skins for your various weapons, and they come in several different levels of rarity, from Common to Immortal. Whenever you open a case, you randomly receive one of the weapons it contains.
To open a case you need to buy a key, which costs $2.50. This can be money well-spent, however, since you can sell the skins you obtain on the open marketplace—sometimes for eye-watering sums.
In fact, some items have become so coveted that it’s not possible to sell them through Steam’s own market, which limits the price of a single listing to $1800.
