It looks like eager Turtle fans won’t have to wait too long to get their hands on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, the upcoming beat-’em-up from Dotemu. According to PlayStation Database, Shredder’s Revenge arrives on June 16.
The PlayStation Game Size Twitter account, which recently noted Stray’s release date, posted the news yesterday afternoon. The account notes that this June 16 date could still be a placeholder, but PlayStation’s database seems to think that the game is going to become available in just over two weeks, and placeholders are usually set much further ahead in the future.

For those who haven’t heard of TMNT: Shredder's Revenge, our own George Foster called it "Turtles in Time but with every single element turned up to 11." Based on the TMNT retro arcade beat-'em-ups from the ‘90s, Shredder’s Revenge brings all four Ninja Turtles as well as Master Splinter and even April O’Neil back from the past to defeat the Turtle’s old enemy, Shredder.
Dotemu is a company uniquely skilled at breathing new life into a very old genre. Streets of Rage 4 is one of 2020’s best games, bringing back that classic beat-'em-up action but updated with modern features such as online multiplayer, combos, and super attacks. There’s also a ton of additional content to unlock, DLC, and secret characters. Hopefully, TMNT: Shredder's Revenge will be more of the same.
Besides Shredder’s Revenge, the same Twitter account also recently revealed Stray’s release date as July 19. Stray puts players in control of a cat searching for its lost family in a cyberpunk metropolis full of strange robots and hostile alien creatures.
