Since its reveal last year, fans have been curious to learn more about the retro inspired beat-em-up Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge. Developed by Tribute Games alongside Dotemu, Shredder's Revenge aims to tap into that classic gameplay nostalgia with its pixel graphics, side-scrolling action made popular by Konami in the 90s. There's been plenty of details shared in the year since it's announcement, including an expanded roster that includes April O'Neil and Master Splinter.
However, one important detail that has remained elusive has been a release date. Recently, there have been plenty of teases as to when a potential release date for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge could arrive. With Geoff Keighley's Summer Games Fest taking place today, many were hoping for a potential reveal, and sure enough, fans were shown a brand new trailer with a host of new details and exciting reveals.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge Will Include Playable Splinter
The newest trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge not only showed off new gameplay, but also revealed the playable roster is growing even bigger. Alongside the four turtles, April, and Splinter, the masked Casey Jones is also available to rough up some foot soldiers. Donning his iconic old school hockey mask and black hair, Jones hits his enemies incredibly hard with smash attacks, baseball bat and hockey stick strikes, and super moves that sees him whirl around in a screen clearing tornado.
