At Summer Game Fest 2022, Dotemu and Tribute Games have officially revealed Casey Jones gameplay alongside an engaging 6-player mode for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. Additionally, the publisher has shared the game’s release date, which managed to leak a few days ago.
As reported by PlayStation Game Size on Twitter, a leak from PlayStation Database suggested that TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge might be coming as soon as June 16. While insiders did leave a warning that the date could be just a placeholder, the leak looked too specific for the date to be purely random. Moreover, the rumor aligned perfectly with previous reports suggesting that the game might launch in the middle of 2022. With today’s reveal, the leak received an official confirmation.

The ongoing Summer Game Fest party was chosen by the publisher Dotemu to share a plethora of information regarding the anticipated TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge beat'em up side-scroller, which is now less of a mystery thanks to the reveal of Casey Jones gameplay and a 6-player co-op mode. Casey, the Turtles’ iconic masked ally armed with a hockey stick, will be an unlockable character that brings the perfect balance to the combat, following last year's introduction of April to TMNT: Shredder's Revenge. And the exciting 6-player co-op multiplayer is going to be absolute mayhem, since the game will scale the number of enemies based on how many players have joined forces. The game will be available for players to enjoy in just a week, on June 16, when it launches across PC, Switch, PS4, and Xbox One.
