Taika Waititi and co. are teasing a flamboyant and emotional story in a new Thor: Love and Thunder behind-the-scenes video and a powerful Zeus. The fictional deity based on the Greek god will be making his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in the upcoming sequel with Russell Crowe playing him. Thor: Love and Thunder will follow Chris Hemsworth's titular God of Thunder as he is forced to come out of his retirement and journey for inner peace when Gorr begins killing off gods. Thor will have to build a team to bring Gorr down, including Taika Waititi's Korg, Tessa Thompson's King Valkyrie and Natalie Portman's Jane Foster, who has become the Mighty Thor and is wielding a reconstructed Mjolnir. With anticipation already sky high for the MCU sequel, those behind Thor: Love and Thunder are looking to keep that bar raised ahead of the film's release.
