A new poster has provided a closer look at Sylvester Stallone’s superhero costume in Samaritan. The upcoming Amazon movie sees Stallone star as a retired superhuman living anonymously under the name Mr. Smith, after a showdown with his arch nemesis 20 years earlier. After his identity is uncovered by his young neighbour Sam (Javon Walton), the teen launches a campaign to convince Stallone's tired hero to return to his life of crime-fighting.
Now, Stallone himself has shared a fresh look at his superhero identity with the latest poster for Samaritan. Though a previous poster gave a brief but blurry glimpse at the character in full hero garb, the new image gives the clearest picture yet of Mr. Smith’s old persona. Featured in the shadow of Smith’s older civilian self, the Samaritan stands in a dark and seemingly armoured suit with a white emblem emblazoned across his chest plate.
