The first trailer for, a new mockbuster movie from, has been released.
Playing off the upcoming Twisters sequel, The Twisters is a new mockbuster from The Asylum, a production company known for making low-budget movies that are released around the same time as a major motion picture with similar themes, titles, or subjects.

“Dozens of deadly tornados converge in the Midwest, merging into a mega twister set to obliterate everything for hundreds of miles,” the synopsis for the movie reads.
The Twisters stars pop icon Tiffany Renee Darwish, Kayla Fields, Paul Logan, and Mark Justice.
The film is written by Jeffrey Anderson, while Michael Su directs the film. Su previously directed 2022’s Night of the Tommyknockers, 2022’s 2025 Armageddon, 2023’s Transmorphers: Mech Beasts, 2023’s Bloodthirst, and 2024’s Snow White and the Seven Samurai.
The Twisters is now playing in theaters in Glendale, California (Laemmle); Brunswick, Ohio (Hickory Ridge Cinemas); Minneapolis, Minnesota (Trylon Cinema); South Beach, Miami, Florida (O Cinema); and Roswell, Georgia (Aurora Cineplex).
It is also available on digital outlets.
Twisters, meanwhile, is a sequel to 1996’s Twister that releases in theaters on July 19, 2024. Directed by Lee Isaac Chung and written by Mark L. Smith, the film stars Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell, Anthony Ramos, Brandon Perea, Maura Tierney, Sasha Lane, and David Corenswet.
