The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is getting its own game, from Gun Interactive and Sumo Nottingham, styled on the original film. To get ready for its 2023 release, Gun has revealed the very first gameplay trailer, showing Leatherface, his family, and our rag-tag team of survivors in action.
It's coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Steam, and Game Pass: "The community asked, and we're thrilled to answer that our partners at Sumo were able to create a plan to bring The Texas Chainsaw Massacre to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms in a way that preserves the gameplay and visual tone of the title while giving players what they have been asking for," Gun Interactive stated. "It was important to us to enable every fan of the franchise to experience our vision for the game."

The trailer opens with a survivor crawling through the back of a car only to find a killer on the other side with a knife, primed to cut and stab. It's not Leatherface, though. Taking notes from the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, we get to fight the whole Sawyer family, and this is just one member.
As you can see in the trailer embedded above, it then cuts to Leatherface revving up his groovy chainsaw, an older Sawyer searching for survivors, the underground mines, and more. Leatherface is even capable of hiding in tight spaces and then jumping out, shoving that chainsaw up survivors' stomachs, flipping Dead by Daylight's locker system on its head entirely.
The game follows Ana Flores who is searching for her missing sister with a group of friends. But things turn grizzly when they encounter a butchering family who wears human skin. It comes
