The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Game Adding Horror Icon Barbara Crampton as DLC
Gun Media’s game is adding another horror icon to its roster with You’re Next and Re-Animator actor .
Crampton revealed the news via Instagram.

It won’t be Crampton’s first video game horror role, as she was the voice and visage of the character Mom in co-op zombie shooter Back 4 Blood. Amusingly, this character is also described as a ”mom” character, though likely a more typical mom than the tough-as-nails zombie slayer.
Gun had previously mentioned a new Victim and a new Family member were both in development, while still requiring further fine-tuning and testing.
Gun Media has had a successful start with its multiplayer take on Tobe Hooper’s , with high player counts, good reviews, and a general swell of positivity surrounding it.
It’s a redemption story after the unfortunate licensing situation with Friday the 13th The Game, one it’s not looking to repeat as it has a great understanding with the rights holder.
