Warning: This article contains spoilers for The Terminal List season 1
The Terminal List set up the arrival of Reece's pal Raife Hastings in a potential second season, and here's who should play him. 2022 has been a busy year for Chris Pratt, which saw the release of trilogy capperJurassic Park Dominion and a guest appearance in Thor: Love And Thunder. It also saw the actor try out a TV series in the form of The Terminal List, where he plays a Navy SEAL named James Reece whose entire team is killed during an ambush. Reece's wife and daughter are later murdered as part of a conspiracy, so the former SEAL draws up a kill list to seek revenge.
The Terminal List — which partly remade First Blood in episode 6 — is based on a series of novels by author Jack Carr, with the Amazon show being a largely faithful adaptation. The series received largely mixed reviews, with some finding the pacing sluggish and the tone morose. That said, The Terminal List has proven popular with viewers, with Pratt and the showrunners hoping to continue on and adapt the rest of Carr's books. The first season left some breadcrumbs behind for another season too.

While the show doesn't state this, Carr's The Terminal List novel ended with the reveal Reece's brain tumor was operable. This led the way for his eventual surgery and recovery in later books. In the final episode of the show, Reece also gets some offscreen help from a character named Raife Hastings, who leaves him a boat for his final mission. The Terminal List — which has many differences from the book — only hints at their history, with Raife being a major supporting player in Carr's book.
