The Office Stars John Krasinski & Steve Carell Reunite In New Movie
Former Office co-stars Steve Carell and John Krasinski are set to reunite in the new Paramount film If, which is also being directed by Krasinski. Though they've both gone on to build impressive careers through other projects, Carell and Krasinski remain known for the time they spent working at Dunder Mifflin on The Office. Carell played inept and often politically incorrect manager Michael Scott, while Krasinski portrayed salesman/trickster Jim Halpert. Though Carell left in The Office season 7, Krasinski stuck around for the show's entire 9-season run.
In the years since The Office, Krasinski has become a director to watch on top of his onscreen work. His feature directorial debut came with 2016's The Hollars, but it was A Quiet Place in 2018 that officially put Krasinski on many people's radars. His next project will be If, a family film set to be released by Paramount in November 2023. In addition to directing, Krasinski will write and star in the film, which also includes the talents of Ryan Reynolds, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Fiona Shaw.

Now Krasinski has organized an Office reunion for If. Per Deadline, Carell has joined the cast of If, which is still keeping its plot and characters under wraps. So far, all that is known about the story is that it stems from an original idea from Krasinski and is about a child's journey to rediscover their imagination. The movie has also added Louis Gossett Jr., Alan Kim (Minari), and Cailey Fleming (Loki) to the cast. Krasinski celebrated his new ensemble in a sweet social media post, which can be seen down below.
