The first trailer for The Adam Project reveals Ryan Reynolds' time-traveling pilot trying to save the future. Directed by Shawn Levy (Free Guy),The Adam Project stars Reynolds, Mark Ruffalo, Zoe Saldana, Jennifer Garner, and Catherine Keener in the Netflix original action/adventure sci-fi comedy. Written by Mark Levin, Jennifer Flackett, T.S. Nowlin, and Jonathan Tropper, the film is slated to debut exclusively on Netflix on March 11, 2022.
Reynolds and Levy recently teamed up in 2021 for the hugely successful Free Guy, which is already slated to get a sequel with both creators aboard. Reynolds recently starred in Red Notice for Netflix, which is the streamer's most-watched movie of all time, garnering a green light for back-to-back sequels with Reynolds, Dwayne Johnson, and Gal Gadot. Reynolds will also appear alongside Will Ferrell in the holiday comedy Spirited, which is set to release in 2022 as well.

Reynolds stars as a time-traveling pilot who crash lands on Earth in 2022, teaming up with his younger self and his late father in order to save the future. The trailer is packed with action and humor, showcasing Reynold's usual blend of charm and action prowess, but also teases a great deal of heart, giving the vibe of an early 80s Amblin film, but with more refined effects.
