The Office Complete Series Gets Huge Discount At Amazon
No question about it. I am ready to watch The Office again. Amazon has deals on the Blu-ray and DVD box sets for the complete series of the NBC hit comedy show.
Hanging around after Amazon Prime Day, The Office: The Complete Series on Blu-ray is available for $80 on Amazon, which is $40 off its retail price of $120. Meanwhile, the DVD set is only $30 when it usually retails for $75.
The Office continues to stay popular after debuting in 2005. The US version of the show was actually based on the original British series, and The Office is now getting remade for Australian audiences. It will be the 13th version of the show.
Starring Steve Carell, John Krasinski, and Jenna Fischer, The Office followed a regional branch of the fictional paper company, Dunder-Mifflin. The series ran for nine seasons and won multiple Emmy Awards.
However, Dwight Schrute actor Rainn Wilson recently opened up about why he was unhappy on The Office. He explained that he was caught up wanting more and more, constantly wondering why he wasn't a movie star. «I'm realizing now, like, I'm on a hit show, Emmy nominated every year, making lots of money, working with Steve Carell and Jenna Fischer and John Krasinski and these amazing writers and incredible directors like Paul Feig,» Wilson said.
