Rob Zombie has shared a collage of images showing off the cast of his upcoming film reboot of The Munsters. The original Munsters sitcom, about a family of monsters trying to live in a suburban neighborhood, came to screens in 1964 and ran for two seasons. The property has existed in many iterations throughout the years, and there have been several modern attempts to revive it, including Bryan Fuller's Mockingbird Lane, which was created as a one-time special without being picked up for series by NBC. Rob Zombie's upcoming The Munstersfilm is the first project since then to see the light of day, assuming production — which is currently taking place in Hungary — goes according to plan.
Rob Zombie's version of The Munsters will certainly look different, but it will feature most of the iconic characters that fans would expect. This includes the heads of the family, vampire mother Lily Munster and her Frankensteinian monster husband Herman Munster. The rest of their family is filled out by their son Eddie Munster, Grandpa, and — of course — their human niece Marilyn Munster. Also included are the characters Zoya Krupp, Dr. Henry Augustus Wolfgang, and Igor.

On his Instagram, Rob Zombie shared a collage of all the official character images from The Munsters so far, including some new first looks and the glimpse at Jorge Garcia's new character Floop that was revealed in a solo photo yesterday.
