After its initial announcement way back at E3 2019, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is finally out today on Nintendo Switch. You can check out what critics think of it here (spoilers: It’s really good), but there’s also new gameplay courtesy of the recent Treehouse Live. Check it out below, though beware of spoilers for the start of the game.
The livestream focused mainly on Link’s abilities, like Ultrahand, used to pick up and connect large objects, and Fuse, which combines and reinforces weapons. It also explores the Sky Islands, where players start their adventure, and also provides some underground gameplay. If that weren’t enough, there are also raids with NPCs, where Link can join various citizens on some friendly monster-slaying.
