In what may be one of the most notable bombshells of the year, the US Federal Trade Authority appears to have accidentally leaked Zenimax Media’s mind-bogglingly comprehensive game release schedule. Notable examples include Fallout 3 remastered, TES 4: Oblivion remastered, and Dishonored 3! Though it harkens back to 2020, and is obviously outdated in today’s terms, the schedule has directed a floodlight upon some of Microsoft’s most notable (potential) future releases. This document was just released as part of the wrap-up following the FTC’s legal battle with Microsoft, and it was originally sourced during Microsoft’s acquisition of Zenimax Media.
As Zenimax Media is the parent company to Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks, as well as Arkane Studios, id Software, and several others, it was par for the course that its planned future releases would get discussed during the acquisition talks. They weren’t intended for the general public to read, and the FTC was likely supposed to have redacted them ahead of their release.

Naturally, these were all just informed estimates at the time of writing of the document, back in 2020. As Starfield has only just come out now, in 2023, it should be plainly obvious that most everything mentioned in the featured doc is fully out of date. However, the odds are good that at least some of the referenced, but unannounced games are still in production, even if they did probably get pushed back by a few years.
