If you want to know what happens in The Flash post-credits scene, ComingSoon has you covered. Fans can watch The Flash in theaters starting June 16, 2023. In the meantime, beware of the spoilers… or dive right in!
Barry’s latest adventure took him through an unusual route where he erased almost all the Snyderverse’s heroes to save his mother. All but one as it appears Aquaman (Jason Momoa) is still alive and well, even though he’s back to his habit of drinking beers until passing out face down in a sidewalk puddle. Earlier in the movie, Barry discovered that his actions prevented Arthur from even being born. By the end of the story, it seems Barry has fixed his mistake. Barry attempts to explain his multiverse journey to Arthur, but the latter prefers to ask for another beer.
The Flash post-credits scene serves pretty much to remind the fans that Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will swim into theaters on December 20, 2023. While some people might not appreciate the gag, The Flash has plenty of Easter Eggs that DC fans can’t really complain about. The movie’s ending features a particularly unexpected and appreciated return, read here to find out more about it.
What about Aquaman’s future? Producers opted to show Arthur Curry in the new timeline established in The Flash, implying he might still be part of the new DC Universe lineup. Much like for Ezra Miller‘s Flash, the future of Momoa’s Aquaman isn’t set in stone. Earlier this year, several rumors attached Momoa to the role of Lobo in the James Gunn-led DC Universe. Time will tell what’s going to happen. The upcoming Aquaman sequel will also see the return of Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, and Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, among others.
