Nintendo has unveiled the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 file size on the game’s official listing and it’s a doozy! 15GB is what they have listed, before any updates.
Recently revealed for a July release, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will take up a hefty chunk on your Switch: half the entire on-board HDD in some cases. Naturally nearly all of you have upgraded at this point, and probably expected around that file size: but just in case!
In terms of how this shakes out, the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 file size is the biggest yet for the main series. If we really want to get nuts, Xenoblade Chronicles X (which doesn’t even have an official storefront page anymore), an often forgotten part of the series, really shakes things up. It had a staggering 10GB of data packs, which included anything from speeding up load times to making things look sharper, in various aspects of the game (like walking around the field, or in shops).
