Pokemon Legends: Arceus became a commercial success and received mostly positive feedback from the gaming community. The game sold more than 6.5 million copies within the first week of its release. Pokemon Legends: Arceus keeps the core gameplay of previous titles while adding some new features. Interestingly, the game is set in ancient times in the Sinnoh region, which was known as the Hisui region back then.

Answering the call of these gamers, one fan did an experiment to see what Professor Laventon would look like without his signature hat. Interestingly, the Reddit community suggests Laventon looks better without the hat while also showing their dissatisfaction with game devs for adding the hat in the first place.
