As heavily hinted with a poster and then actually shown in The Boys season 3 trailer, notorious anti-supe tough guy Billy Butcher will be getting superpowers of his own. He's been shown with heat vision, suggesting he'll actually get powers similar to Homelander's (Antony Starr). This means big changes are coming for The Boys.

Urban confirmed as much while talking to EW recently. While discussing the superpowered twist, Urban explained how it opens up a major question about his character: Will he use these powers for good, or for bad? That leads to a greater conflict within everyone else. Urban said:
