Announcements and reveals were a plenty today, with Shovel Knight developer Yacht Club Games showing us its next exciting project. We also got news about what Destiny 2 has in store now its under the PlayStation umbrella, and the strange announcement that It Takes Two is getting a movie adaptation.
When you think of games released in 2021 to turn into a movie, It Takes Two probably isn't very high on your list. However, creator Josef Fares believes that the "potential is huge" for a movie/TV adaptation, explaining that the game's cast of quirky characters is reason enough it should get one. It doesn't sound like the worst thing in the world, but if you do see yourself going to see the It Takes Two movie in the future, for the love of God do not take your kids with you.

Yacht Club Games announced that it has a brand new title in the works, and it's called Mina the Hollower. Similar to Shovel Knight, Mina the Hollower is an attempt to modernize a classic retro style of game, this time being Castlevania and The Legend of Zelda. The game is being partially funded by Kickstarter and you can find more information on the game on its official Kickstarter page.
Bungie is now a part of PlayStation, but that doesn't mean that work on Destiny 2 is slowing down. To assure fans and make sure no Destiny 2 players is left behind, Bungie has outlined its plans for the future of Destiny, explaining that the franchise will remain multiplatform and that the studio will have full creative control and publishing independence despite Sony's acquisition. Whether new IP will launch on Xbox is another matter entirely.
