A few bits of exciting news to dive into today, including the launch of Cyberpunk 2077's next-gen update and the announcement of a Bioshock movie being produced by Netflix. Those waiting for Cyberpunk 2077's next-gen update before exploring the streets of Night City can jump in right now as CD Projekt Red shadow dropped the update earlier today. Along with enhanced performance on PS5 and Xbox Series X, players can now experienced improved driving, faster loading times, and DualSense integration as well as the ability to customize their character whenever they like. The update is available right now, although there are reports of PlayStation users struggling to upgrade.

The second surprise announcement of the day came from Netflix as it announced it is currently working on a movie adaptation of BioShock. Not much more information was revealed other than the initial announcement, but we do know that the movie will be a retelling of the first game's plot and will take place in the underwater city of Rapture. The fact that we've been given very little info suggests that the film won't hit Netflix for a while, but it's something to look forward to.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers will have a bunch of new games to try out as Xbox has announced the titles coming to the service later this month. Heavy hitters include Madden NFL 22 and Total War: Warhammer 3, as well as Mass Effect Legendary Edition via the cloud.
