Team 17 has been in the firing line today, with many employees coming out and speaking to the press after the publisher's recent foray into NFTs. According to workers who spoke with Eurogamer, the publisher has "too many games" in the works and that employees are chastised for not meeting expectations. There are also reports that Team 17 is offering employees "terrible" pay, forcing some to "skip meals" and "go into the office during the pandemic" just to get by.

The release of The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power is drawing ever closer, and Amazon has now given us our first look at some characters in the show. Revealed by Vanity Fair, the costumes and sets look very high-budget and well-made, as you might expect from a TV show that's being funded by one of the most successful companies on the planet. It'll be awhile until we get to see these actors in motion though, as the show doesn't premiere until September 2 later this year.
We also got some interesting Resident Evil news today as it's been reported that Capcom has big plans for Resident Evil 4 Remake. The publisher is apparently attempting to make Resident Evil 4 Remake much scarier than the original, using Resident Evil 4's scrapped demos as inspiration.
