Bethesda is one of the biggest video game studios in the world, right now. With Microsoft buying Zenimax Media, the parent company of Bethesda, not long ago, it was evident that the developer and publisher was only going to grow. While mainly known for The Elder Scrolls and Fallout series, the company is now on its way to releasing its first new IP in decades. On top of that, there's also word going around that there may be yet another new game on the horizon.
According to a recent tweet from YouTuber SKULLZI, Bethesda, or at least Zenimax Media, has renewed a trademark for something called «Spyteam,» with the possibility that this could hint at a new game. Screenshots uploaded along with the tweet show that the trademark was filed by Zenmax at the end of January this year, but outside that, very little is known about what this could be in relation to. Many will suspect that it's the title of another game, which may have been in talks, or even development, for some time now.

Back in 2020, it was rumored that Bethesda Montreal was working on a new game called Spyteam, after some job postings were spotted online, so this definitely ties in with this latest development. Of course, it doesn't seem as though much else has been said about it since, and the studio and its parent company have yet to release any statement about what the trademark renewal is in relation to. However, it goes without saying that many fans will see this as a modicum of evidence that Bethesda is working on a brand-new IP, but that's only speculation at this stage.
