A recent introduction to the comic book world, DC Comics' Jurassic League takes the beloved and fan favorite characters of the Justice League and turns them all into dinosaurs, which begs the question: what if Marvel were to do the same thing with the Avengers? Jurassic League is an awesome concept that surprisingly has not been done before, and it's the sort of «out there» thing that comic book publishers use to keep readers engrossed in their content. It's also the sort of conceit that can easily be applied to any number of other heroes.
Jurassic League #1 by Juan Gedeon, Daniel Warren Johnson, and Mike Spicer features a prehistoric lineup of iconic Justice League characters. Superman takes on the appearance of a Brachiosaurus, becoming the hero known as Supersaur. Batman becomes Batwalker, a T-rex with a knack for dressing up as a bat, and from the island of Trimyscira comes Wonderdon, a cross between Wonder Woman and a Triceratops. The comic also features brief appearances of Aquanyx, Flashraptor, and Green Torch, jurassic versions of Aquaman, the Flash, and Green Lantern, respectively. And will all the heroes being dino-fied, of course their main villains are, too.

So, bearing all that in mind begs the question: What if Marvel did the same thing with their version of the Justice League? There are plenty of heroes currently on or have been on the Avengers that would make excellent adaptations of the ancient beasts. Also, Avengesaurs has a pretty cool ring to it.
Just because these dinosaurs don't hunt or eat meat does not mean that they wouldn't be formidable members of a prehistoric Avengers team. Heroes like Captain America and Thor
