The Tesla Model 3 is the top-rated car model by owners in the U.S. and Europe. The Model 3 is one of Tesla’s cheapest electric vehicles. It can go from zero to 60 in 3.1 seconds and reach top speeds of 162 mph. It also has an estimated mile range of 267 on a single charge. Owners can recharge up to 175 miles in only 15 minutes at a Supercharger location. It also comes with 360-degree cameras that are rear, side and forward-facing, as well as visual processing for up to a 250-meter range. It’s the perfect car for someone investing in their first EV.
The Model 3 currently starts at $39,640. The base model has luckily escaped a price increase, but the Long Range variant has increased $3,500 — from $54,490 to $57,990. The Long Range model also got a price hike in July last year when it went up to $49,990, which was about $1,000 more. This Tesla model isn’t the only one to see price increases. It’s been across the board of the lineup. The Model 3 is also no longer eligible for California’s EV rebates due to the price increases. Despite all this, owners seem to be pretty happy with their Model 3 EV.
