A Tesla Semi was spotted this week at Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca in California, hauling two sets of prefabricated Superchargers to be installed at the racetrack. This was a relatively rare sighting for the electric truck that is reportedly undergoing testing on highways across California. The latest sighting of the vehicle before this week was at the Michigan International Speedway earlier this month when it was spotted parked alongside the much-talked-about Cybertruck. Tesla is believed to have built at least four of these white electric semi-trucks at its prototype production line in Nevada.
The Tesla Semi is an all-electric Class 8 semi-truck that was initially unveiled in 2017. Full-scale commercial production of the vehicle is only expected to start next year alongside the Cybertruck. However, that doesn't mean that there's been a shortage of news, rumors and speculations about the vehicle in the media over the past year. It has been pictured on many occasions while being tested on highways and Interstates across the country. However, in most cases, the vehicle has generally been spotted without a trailer, which makes the latest sighting all that more interesting.

The official Tesla Charging Twitter account this week posted a short video showing the Tesla Semi hauling two pre-fab Superchargers to the Laguna Seca race track in California.
