Sandbox title Terraria has sold over 32 million copies on PC alone.
The milestone was revealed in a post on developer Re-Logic's website, in which the company announced that the title had sold 58.7 million copies across all platforms. The game launched back in 2011.
"It has been quite some time since we gave an update on just how massive the Terraria fanbase has grown," the studio wrote.
"This was somewhat by design, as we had our sights set on doing so once we passed a somewhat-obscure game about a plumber and his brother trying to save a princess from this dragon-turtle thing."
"Once again, we are beyond humbled and thankful for your continued support - it is the force that drives us every day to make even more awesome Terraria experiences. I wonder what might happen when we get to sixty million."
Back in March 2021, the game had sold over 35 million copies; of that figure, 17.2 million were on PC.
