Despite not having the original developer of Tales from the Borderlands, Telltale Games, its PAX 2022 reveal was Gearbox's confirmation that the beloved spinoff was still alive and well.

One such title was Tales from the Borderlands, a five-part episodic interactive game developed by Telltale Games studios before its original shuttering and subsequent resurrection under LCG Entertainment. Tales from the Borderlands took players on an interactive journey through Pandora in the wake of Borderlands 2, engaging them in quick time events, point-and-click exploration, and immersive dialogue trees with an outlandish cast worthy of Borderlands’ zany setting. After being mysteriously pulled from digital retail in 2019, Tales from the Borderlands returned to digital stores in 2021, prompting speculation of a sequel to the Borderlands spin-off.

A recent Twitter post from Gematsu — as reported via Game Rant — indicated that a Korean rating board has listed an entry for the sequel to Tales from the Borderlands.
