Grimorio of Games has announced Sword of the Necromancer: Resurrection, a 3D remake of the 2021-released Sword of the Necromancer for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (Steam). It will launch in 2024, prior to the release of the previously announced Sword of the Necromancer: Revenant.
A reimagining of the original monster-summoning dungeon crawler, Sword of the Necromancer: Resurrection is based on Sword of the Necromancer: Revenant‘s engine, and offers new ways to battle, and renewed mechanics and systems, including the ability to customize the summoned monsters’ artificial intelligence. It will also feature remastered illustrations and voice acting in both English and Japanese, as well as new scenes that delve deeper in Tama and Koko’s tragic love story. Clearing Sword of the Necromancer: Resurrection will also unlock bonuses in Sword of the Necromancer: Revenant once it is available, like the ability to summon the bosses of the remake as special summons.
