The latest update for Palworld recently released for PC players, and now it's available for Xbox gamers as well. While Palworld is readily available on both PC and Xbox, there isn't parity between the two versions yet. Palworld's PC release has some features that the Xbox version is missing, and this lack of parity is reflected in the updates that are released for the wildly popular open world survival game as well.
Whereas the latest Palworld update was available to PC players on February 26, those on Xbox had to wait until February 28. While some Xbox fans may be disappointed that the new update doesn't implement things like dedicated servers for Palworld, the new update does make a number of other fixes and promises a big fix on the way as part of a future update.
The Xbox version of Palworld Update 0.1.5.0 is available to download right now. The patch notes for the Xbox version of the update are identical to the PC release, though there is an Xbox-specific note that fans should be aware of. At the bottom of the Palworld update patch notes, developer Pocketpair promised that it is working on an issue where auto-save fails for the Xbox versions of the game, and that it hopes to resolve the issue in a future update.
This latest Palworld update has actually proven to be one of the more controversial ones released for the game so far. The update has made it so Palworld breeding no longer lets players breed negative traits out of Pals. Fans were not happy about this change, and the backlash was severe enough that the developers promised to roll things back. Palworld breeding will be going back to how it originally functioned, but fans will have to wait for specific timing on when they can expect said rollback to take place.
