Ubisoft has launched its Ubisoft+ game subscription service on Xbox consoles.
Xbox users can join the service via the Ubisoft+ Multi Access plan. Priced at $17.99 / £14.99 per month, it lets users access over 100 games on PC and a selection of titles (listed below) via Xbox consoles and Amazon’s Luna cloud gaming service.
Ubisoft + offers Ubisoft’s biggest titles on day one as part of its service. Subscribers also receive a discount on virtual currency packs within select games.
“Partnering with Xbox to launch Ubisoft+ Multi Access on Xbox consoles enhances our subscription offering to provide more value and choice to our players,” said Ubisoft senior VP of strategic partnerships and business development, Chris Early. “Xbox console players now have access to our worlds through Ubisoft’s extensive game library.”
“Like us, Ubisoft strives to bring more games to more people, and today we’re accelerating that effort together”, said Sarah Bond, corporate VP of creator experience and ecosystem at Microsoft. “By launching Ubisoft+ on Xbox, we’re presenting Xbox console players another vibrant catalogue to explore by subscription.”
Originally launched for PC as Uplay+ in September 2019, the basic Ubisoft+ plan offers access to over 100 Ubisoft titles, including new games and DLC at launch, from $14.99 / £12.99 / €14.99 per month.
A Ubisoft+ Classics range was added to PlayStation Plus last year, making a smaller selection of the company’s older titles available to players who subscribe to the Extra and Premium tiers of Sony’s service.
