Street Fighter 6's third outfits for each character are finally here and look amazing, but the high price tag attached to them has angered a lot of fans who had been patiently waiting for new costumes.
At launch, it seemed like Street Fighter 6 could do no wrong thanks to its wealth of content, welcoming online modes, stunning visuals and fantastic roster. The only part of the game that had a bit of a question mark around it was the pricing of some of the DLC and outfits, which was a little bit too high for most players' liking.
Well, if fans were a little bothered by the price of each character's second outfit, which was 50 Fighter Coins, they're going to be even more annoyed by Outfit 3. Street Fighter fans have been asking about the third outfit for each character for quite some time now, and Capcom recently showed them all off to thunderous applause and excitement from the community. Who could say no to Luke's original look from Street Fighter 5, or Ken looking like Dante?
After so long waiting for the new skins and them getting such a great response from the community, you'd think that Outfit 3 would be a slam dunk for Capcom, even if they did charge 50 Fighter Coins for them. That's not what's happened, though, as the most recent update to Street Fighter 6 has revealed that Outfit 3 costs 300 Fighter Coins per character.
This isn't the first time that Street Fighter 6's DLC has been considered overpriced, as the TMNT collaboration that happened a few months ago was met with similar criticism.
