Elden Ring will certainly go down in the history books as one of the most difficult games of this generation, with FromSoftware picking up exactly where it left off with games such as Dark Souls, Bloodbourne, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
The game immediately thrusts players into a fight designed to kill the player and things don't get any easier from there. Elden Ring is full of plenty of tough enemies and extremely difficult boss battles that will really test a player's skills and ability as a gamer. However, sometimes the game does take pity on players and the stars can align to make Elden Ring just a little easier.
Funny Elden Ring Video Highlights What Playing Co-Op with Newcomers is Like
In a Reddit clip posted by u/_Gronberg, the player is taking on the Flying Dragon Greyll boss, a very menacing Elden Ring foe that can be very time-consuming and extremely difficult to defeat due to the boss being able to fly, which makes it difficult to land attacks and also makes it easy to fall victim to them.
In the clip, Flying Dragon Greyll can be seen flying across the bridge using its fire attacks, which the player manages to avoid, when it gets towards the end of the bridge it suddenly stops in its tracks with its idle animation playing. After 10 seconds Flying Dragon Greyll suddenly plays its death animation and its health completely depletes, which is lucky for the player as it had approximately 90% of its health remaining. The «Great Enemy Felled» text then appeared on the screen to signal that the Elden Ring boss had been defeated, meaning that the game recognized the defeat and the player wouldn't have to reload their game and attempt the fight again and could simply move on with their playthrough.
