It is the best-selling game of 2022 in the US, besting the likes of Horizon Forbidden West and Pokemon Legends: Arceus, and it has achieved similar results in the UK. Elden Ring will continue to sell well throughout the year as more people than usual seem open to giving it a shot.
While Elden Ring is more approachable than other FromSoftware games, it is still an extremely difficult game. The endgame is particularly filled with many dangerous bosses and users can still die to regular enemies in just a few hits. Players generally respawn fairly quickly after death, especially on current-gen systems, but there is a small window between dying and the screen turning black. A new clip shows enemies seemingly high-fiving each other immediately after killing a player.

The enemies missing the apparent high-five also adds to the hilarity of the situation.
