The Pokemon fingernail lacquers are coming courtesy of Japanese brand uka, and are set to go on pre-order on May 6 to May 11. The six colors are divided up with three of them being more muted and neutral, intended for adults. The other three are brighter, and are primarily intended for kids, though adults can of course use them as well.
The six available Pokemon are Meowth, Eevee, Piplup, Pikachu, Jigglypuff, and Scorbunny. Meowth is a beige color similar to its fur, Eevee is a light brown, and Piplup is a dusty shade of blue. These three colors are fast-drying and intended for adults, and are entirely vegan. Pikachu is a bright yellow, Jigglypuff is a strong pink, and Scorbunny is a bright orange. These three are intended for kids, and as such, can be washed off easily with hot water.
Each nail polish comes in a custom bottle with a silhouette of the chosen Pokemon on the front. The design is simplistic and classy looking, but at $22 a pop, these nail colors won't be scooped up by everyone.
